Poverty does exist in the UK despite what Alan Sugar thinks

Alan Sugar mentioned that people with mobile phones, television or microwave ovens couldn’t possibly be living in poverty. Well obviously homeless people don’t own microwave ovens or televisions, but if they did selling these items would do little to change their homeless status, as these items can be picked up fairly cheap these days.
